Join us for our kickoff program!
Presenter: Anna Rice, Executive Director, Iredell County Council on Aging
Sometimes, circumstances and conditions change, causing our aging parents or other older loved ones to need assistance quickly. Whether the issue is medical, physical, cognitive, financial, or legal, knowing where to start or who to turn to can be very difficult. The complexity of systems, policies, and paperwork can often make the experience extremely confusing and stressful for families as well as the older adult. What do we need? Where do we start? Who can help?
Anna Rice, an experienced leader for the Iredell County Council of Aging, will help ACAP Statesville attendees:
- Learn the key areas to focus on as you help a senior through the aging process.
- Understand resources available to older adults and families within the Statesville area.
- Find creative ways to keep older adults engaged, promoting good health.
We hope you will join us for this important program!
